At Second Kicks, we believe in an inclusive culture where everyone is welcome to play soccer. We know that playing the beautiful game has a positive, lasting impact on all youth, and we are committed to strengthening communities through soccer, one goal at a time.
We had the incredible opportunity to put these beliefs into action by partnering with the Kenyan Kids Foundation Canada for an inspiring project in Kenya.
Equipping the Next Generation

Thanks to our amazing community of supporters, Second Kicks donated a shipment of soccer equipment, including jerseys, shorts, socks, soccer balls, and training gear.
This donation played a vital role in supporting two soccer camps hosted by the Kenyan Kids Foundation Canada—one for under-10 (U10) players and another for under-13 (U13) players. The camps brought together young athletes to learn, develop their skills, build confidence, and, most importantly, enjoy playing soccer.

The program concluded with an exciting 3v3 tournament where the children could put their new skills into practice and celebrate their achievements alongside their teammates, families, and community members.More Than Just Equipment
The impact of this donation went far beyond the physical gear. Seeing the children wear their uniforms and play with the soccer balls created a powerful sense of pride, belonging, and excitement. Additionally, this project empowered the local community by providing coach training, ensuring that the positive momentum of the program continues long after the camps have concluded.

Seeing the enthusiasm and joy on the faces of these young players is a wonderful reminder of why we do this work. It is a privilege to support the Kenyan Kids Foundation Canada in their mission to empower and inspire the next generation through sport.
How You Can Help Us Score More Goals
Second Kicks is a registered charity, and we rely on the generosity of our supporters to continue shipping equipment to communities in Canada and around the world. If you are inspired by this story, here is how you can help:
Donate Used Equipment: We collect sets of uniforms, cleats, balls, and training equipment. Find out how to donate on our Second Kicks Website.
Make a Financial Donation: Financial contributions go directly toward international shipping costs. For example, a donation of $200 covers the shipping costs of a "Game in a box"—which sends 25 sets of uniforms, boots, and a ball to a partner community. You can make a secure monetary donation through our CanadaHelps Donation Page.
Thank you to the Kenyan Kids Foundation Canada for letting us be a part of this beautiful journey, and thank you to our supporters for making these moments possible!
