Time for a quick update. We had a great event with Tony Charles of 33rd Division of Toronto Police. His soccer day was a great success and Second Kicks provided boots, shirts and balls to over 100 kids to support the event.
And now as fall arrives we are back in the collection season. Thanks to all the schools that have kindly agreed to take a collection box -Bennington Heights; Northlea; Ralph Road; Maurice Cody; Bessborough and St Anselms. Special thanks to Andy at Grilltime on Laird (www.grilltime.ca) who also has a collection box. So if you have uniforms to donate, now you know where to drop them off.
Lastly, we’re thrilled to continue our relationship with Toronto FC -they will be providing collection boxes for spectators to drop off uniforms and equipment at this Saturday’s game, October 1st, vs. DC United.
