It was a busy weekend at Second Kicks!
We first picked up a generous donation from Lake Simcoe Soccer Club. The club contacted us online we were able to arrange a pick-up from Keswick, Ontario. We needed two full SUVs to fit their contribution. We look forward to paying this donation forward by distributing it to communities in need around the world.
We then packed two shipments. The first is to Amel Association International in Lebanon. The organization is hosting a soccer league for a hundred Syrian refugees ages 11-13. We provided the league with jerseys, soccer balls and cleats.
The second is en route to Kids Play International in Cambodia. The group had a volunteer from Toronto traveling directly to their facility and such we provided him with shoes, socks, jerseys and various training equipment.
