In July 2021, Second Kicks received a very warm message about an exciting project being organized by local York University student, Ayeda Kahn. As part of her Summer Capstone Project, Ayeda has been busy planning a COVID-19 safe pop-up activity day for a low income neighbourhood in Scarborough where youth can enjoy a day full of fun, games, and socially distanced soccer activities!
Second Kicks is inspired by Ayeda’s commitment to sport and community and we are thrilled to support her event that is set for later this month. Through the donation, Second Kicks is proud to be providing soccer balls, nets, and other training equipment that we know we will be put to good use! We wish Ayeda and all those who attend a memorable and safe afternoon of sport and we can’t wait to hear about the event!
