Spreading the love of soccer to a Maasai village in Tanzania
A Second Kicks volunteer hand-delivered a large shipment of soccer equipment to a school in the Maasai village in northern Tanzania. This opportunity came about as our volunteers were spending time teaching at the local Losirwa Primary School. They kindly agreed to take a shipment along with them. With supplies collected and sorted locally in Toronto, Canada, we delivered enough soccer shirts to equip 8 teams and added 8 balls. A fun fact about the Maasai people is that they

2013 shipment update -already shipped to 5 destinations!
Now we have a storage unit full of generously donated equipment, the search for destinations is on. Crescent school takes Second Kicks soccer uniforms to South Africa
Just heard from Mehernosh Pestonji, the Director of Outreach, about the successful delivery of some of our donated soccer uniforms to a school in South Africa. Welcome to Canada...
Some of our donations travel around the world to destinations as far away as India, Botswana and Uganda, but we also get requests from much closer to home. This summer, Second Kicks has donated jerseys, soccer balls, and lots of boots to the children in a new soccer program started in Etobicoke for new Canadians.
